Q: How long has this franchise or business opportunity been around?   

A: In 1996, Robert Hanson, the founder and President, started a small company that specialized in the installation of coating systems on residential garage floors, walkways, driveways and patios. By 1999, Rob had created and perfected proprietary coating products, coating systems, and coating techniques which formed the foundation of a new company, (GFC). This permitted GFC to expand beyond residential installations into the commercial realm. In 2006, GFC expanded by opening its first franchise in Dallas, Texas, and by 2013, had affiliations with more than 30 dealerships and franchisees across the US and Canada.

Q: Do you offer training and support?   Other services you provide to franchisees to help them?
A: GFC offers a pre-launch training session called “Coatings College” (in Phoenix, AZ) followed by “On-Site Training” at the franchise locale. Additional "post On-Site" training may be provided at the franchise locale on an "as needed" basis. A mandatory annual conference is also provided to Franchisees to provide training on new coating systems, equipment and techniques. Non-technical (business) and technical support is provided at start-up and beyond by way of our dedicated Franchise Support Representative.
