Bowing Green, KY, October 25, 2016-- Wheatless Gluten-FreeRestaurant is now franchising its restaurant, bar, and bakery concept across the Eastern, South Eastern, and Southern United States.  The initial expansion is regionally targeting Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, and West Virginia.  Wheatless Gluten-Free is seeking franchisees in those areas. The brand is the nation’s first franchised- completely Gluten-Free Restaurant, Bar, and Bakery. The full service, fast casual restaurant has an inviting atmosphere, and has a breakfast, lunch and dinner menus that cater to those who are tired of scouring restaurant menus trying to find gluten-free meals for themselves and family members.  The menu is designed to meet the needs of Gluten intolerant and those just looking for great food.  The Gluten-Free  market grew 34% from 2009-2014, and is expected to grow another 19.2% per year from 2016-2019. “Sales of gluten-free food and beverages, once decidedly niche products, grew 30% year over year in the United States from 2006 to 2010, according to market research firm Packaged Facts. Digital Doc was founded in 2014.  The first corporate store located in Bowling Green,, KY  and has seen tremendous growth over the past two years.  In April 2016, the business partners decided to begin the process of franchising their successful business model and became a legal franchisor at the end of September 2016.  

Wheatless Gluten-Free offers franchisees the ability to join a surging Gluten-Free market even if they don’t possess a heavy restaurant background.  According to FDA information only about one in 133 people in the U.S. have celiac disease, with 18 million people being gluten sensitive in the U.S. but 37% of survey respondents say Gluten-Free  is an important factor when they shop for food and dining, with 13% of respondents saying it is “VERY” important.  Shoppers believe Gluten-Free as a healthier option for shopping and for dining.
