Husse California tested the "coffee idea"!

We would like to follow up last week’s article where we mentioned that Husse California was going to try the “coffee idea” and the Husse master franchisee Nicolas’ reported the following: “In 2 hours I sold 3 bags on spot and obtained over 25 leads!”
 
Same idea has been tested in Sweden and England with success, but in this case Husse California switched hot coffee to cold refreshments. They started with announcing it on Facebook two days before they rolled down to the dog park.
 

Besides this is a very simple and free method of marketing, the secret here is the drink because:


  1. We have realized that dog owners change route if they hear rumour of free drinks/ coffee for pet owners. Somehow that spreads quickly throughout the park, beach or whatever “hot spot” you decide to do it.
  2. Pet owners stay and “hang” at the Husse car when they have a drink in their hand. They don’t walk away. If pets also start to play with each other people stay even longer.
  3. This creates a social atmosphere and potential customers starts to automatically ask questions about Husse. This gives a more pleasant situation for the franchisee to promote Husse and a more relaxed way to offer a free sample.
  4. Because people stay and talk it often creates a crowd around the franchisee’s car which also attracts more curious pet owners.
  5. People walk away more satisfied and will most likely talk to their friends and family what they experienced.
This might be the easiest way for new franchisees to operate Husse and increase their customer base. It usually doesn’t require any permits because you just park your car, people understand immediately what you do when they see the car with dog/cat logo, you don’t sell anything so no sales permit and very effective marketing at no cost. We recommend that your franchisees investigate their hotspots and their “rush hours” so they can do this on daily or regular basis. Please try this idea yourself so you can easily convince and sell this idea to your franchisees!
