Sunup Insurance Services, Inc. was founded by Todd Swicegood, who had a highly successful career as a financial advisor, making the top leadership tier for a nationally branded brokerage firm year after year. He knew that connecting with people, and providing service was the key to building growth in a business. Many of his early client relationships were formed through an integrated partnership with other professionals, such as CPAs and Attorneys.

After 25 years in the retail space, he and his wife invested in retail tax offices. His experience enabled him to leverage those tax relationships into insurance sales. In 2014, his personal efforts enabled him to be one of the top personal health insurance providers in his home state. After he was a partner and Chief Marketing & Sales Officer for another national franchising insurance firm, Todd created Sunup Insurance to provide the best partner in the insurance franchise industry.
