Company leaders announced the observance to great excitement from the more than 200 brokers attending Transworld Business Advisors’ National Conference in Denver, Colorado, prior to the International Business Broker’s Association Annual Conference.

Small-business sales are showing steady growth after a drop during the pandemic. According to BizBuySell, which tracks and analyzes small-business data, sales rose by 24 percent in the first quarter of 2022. Analysts say demand for buyers is growing as many Baby Boomer-age owners look to retirement and decide to sell. As a result, the median sale price of a business is now a record $345,000, up 6 percent over the previous year.
