Class 101 – Franchise Information

Class 101 - Providing Crucial College Choice Services
Class 101 is a national corporation with two objectives: First, we want to help every high school student go through the process of preparing for college.  And second, we want to help all parents pay less for college!  For more than 16 years, our mission has been to provide families with expert guidance in the college search, admissions and financial aid process.  Our goal is to see our students achieve theirs.

Class 101 has helped over 2,600 students.  Our students’ average ACT scores increase by 3.1 points with Class 101 assistance.  Thousands of scholarships have been awarded through Class 101 facilitation. In our financial aid workshops, Class 101 staff have helped parents complete over 1,200 financial aid forms.

How a Class 101 Franchise Works
As a Class 101 franchise owner, you provide a local connection and friendly face for the Class 101 service to high school students and their parents.  First, you will set up and present "How to Make College More Affordable" seminars at local business networking groups, churches, libraries, schools, businesses, and more.  Then you will meet with interested families and answer their questions using tried and proven presentation materials from the corporate office.  Individual families pay for the service.  At specific intervals, you meet with students to provide guidance through the college preparation process.

Services to clients include:

  • Helping students identify "good fit" colleges
  • Advising students on high school course scheduling
  • Coaching for GPA improvement
  • Working with student athletes for athletic recruitment
  • Collaborating with students to develop a strong resume
  • Offering eight-week ACT/SAT review classes twice a year
  • Guiding parents through the daunting task of making college as affordable as possible
