With
so many different types of franchise industries from which to choose how
do I determine which industry is the best for me?
The
first thing to consider is if you (the franchisee candidate) have experience
in the industry or an industry similar to it. If so, you must also like
that industry that you have experience in. Many are ready to get out of
an industry that they are in and do something different. So you don’t
want to replace one bad experience with another in the same industry.Second,
you must have some passion for the industry you choose. You must be able
to love what you would do on a day to day basis.
The other
thing to consider is the how you will acquire clients. If you have to
go out and do direct sales in an industry that you are familiar with and/or
like but don’t enjoy then you should probably stay away from that
industry. You may need to get a semi-absentee owned business where their
time is more limited and customers will come to the store. read
