It’s not just about hammers and nails

September 5th, 2008 Amy Posted in Podcasts No Comments »

Hello everyone,

I have not been the only one doing podcast interviews around here. The editor of this blog, Matt Biskup, has also been talking to some franchisors. Earlier, Matt talked with Todd Recknagle, President of the Mr. Handyman franchise system. They talked on some very interesting points, including the new face of Mr. Handyman — the man who’s famous for the line “I don’t think so, Tim.”

You can enjoy everything by clicking on the “read more” link.
Until next time,

Keeping the chicken tasting like chicken and the fish like fish

June 19th, 2008 Amy Posted in Podcasts No Comments »

Good evening,

I was able to have a conversation today with Chad Walker from FiltaFry, a franchise opportunity that offers franchise agreements for deep frying filtration maintenance.

This series of franchisor interviews has been extremely informational and has given serious insight into what goes on in corporate offices once you express interest into opening a franchise. But I also want to get the other side, and talk to a few franchise owners, or people who are currently operating business opportunities. Send me your ideas for what you want to know about The Day in the Life of a Franchisee.

Nevertheless, all of the podcast materials are behind the “read more” cut. Thanks for tuning in!

Until next time,
Amy

Hi Everybody!

I had a great opportunity to record a second podcast and interview the President of The Back Rubber, a company that offers a business opportunity in the vending massage chair industry. Click the link below to read the transcription of the interview, view the pdf of the transcription and also listen to the podcast itself.

Enjoy!

An introduction

April 24th, 2008 Amy Posted in Podcasts No Comments »

This is our first, but surely not last, attempt at a podcast. In this pod cast, Matt and I discuss what the blog means to us and what we want it to mean to all of FranchiseOpportunities.com’s readers. You can definitely expect to see more of these in the future explaining some processes and further details that will go into crafting some of the entries. Behind the cut is the audio file, the pdf file for the transcription and the actual transcription.

Please enjoy!

Amy
