Dorulla of Greenwood Recognized at Sport Clips National Huddle
Nations Largest Guys Hair-care Provider Reveals Growth Plans,
Showcases Standouts, and Receives Recognition from VFW
Orlando, FL (April 14, 2009) - Ray Dorulla of Greenwood received recognition as 2008 at the Sport Clips National Huddle held here last week.
With almost 1,200 in attendance, the largest Huddle crowd in the franchises history, Sport Clips Founder and CEO Gordon Logan detailed plans for the guy-focused, hair-care providers continued growth and recognized its 2008 successes. Sport Clips now has 640+ stores open across the country with plans to have its 700th store after the first of next year.
A highlight of the meeting came when Logan, a veteran, was honored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) for Sport Clips support of Operation Uplink, a VFW program that affords free call days for US military. Sport Clips is Operation Uplinks largest free call days sponsor.
Special guests of the meeting were Joe Gibbs, former NFL coach and owner of Joe Gibbs Racing, which Sport Clips sponsors, and NASCARs Joey Logano. Additional Huddle highlights included a National Defense Radio broadcast, The Look stylist competition, and speakers from John Paul Mitchell Systems, including Global Artistic Director Robert Cromeans; Mel Kleiman of Humetrics; and experts from the Disney Institute.
