DwellGreen Franchising, LLC, a Sarasota, FL based company that conducts residential and commercial building evaluations, has awarded its first franchise. Started in early 2009, DwellGreen has spent the past 2 ½ years developing and perfecting its business model and transitioning that model into a viable franchise opportunity that is now being offered throughout the U.S. Recently launching the franchising effort, the company will sign its first franchise agreement with Kevin S. Drelich, whose interest in DwellGreen began over 6 months ago when he first inquired about working for the organization and continued his pursuit as he followed the company’s progress and talked periodically with Jim Majirsky, company President. Drelich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Ramapo College of New Jersey, is a USGBC member, and is completing his LEED certification. He will start as a franchisee by attending a 5 day initial training program at the DwellGreen Learning Center where he will learn all of the day to day operational aspects of running a DwellGreen business. He then will begin to reach out and introduce himself to the community. His exclusive territory will include all of Sarasota and Manatee counties.
