A Summary of Differences!
W&W and a restaurant franchise company will both provide you with a proven concept and operational procedures. Both will provide you with experienced restaurant trainers.
The difference is the tested experience and motivation for your success that Dan & Tom bring, as opposed to a restaurant franchise company's paid employees.
Both will provide you with a proven menu and systems that work. However, the restaurant franchise will allow you no flexibility to make necessary changes that may be called for in your market.
A franchise company will not assist you with financial planning. W&W will provide extensive restaurant consulting services as well as a comprehensive business plan with cost and sales projections.
W&W charges a reasonable, onetime consulting fee. In addition to a restaurant franchise company's often exorbitant fee, they typically charge ongoing monthly franchise royalties and often require additional contributions to their marketing fund. At 6% to 10% of your gross revenue, the royalties that you pay to a franchise company can amount to as much as 50% of your net profit!
